This 4 hour interactive seminar examines how better information, access to referral and resources can support health professionals address sexual issues during and beyond pregnancy.
Leading edge information delivered by inspiring speakers from women's physiotherapy, National Childbirth Trust, midwifery and psychotherapy as well as maternity relevant exhibitors
The Seminar Aims To
- Raise levels of awareness of sexual health issues during pregnancy
- Enhance knowledge of educational resources and how they can be used in practice
- Help change attitudes about sexuality during pregnancy
- Develop skills in dealing with sexual issues in maternity health
- Evaluate latest evidence based practice
So That The Participant Will Be Able To
- Be better equipped to communicate and supply information on sexual issues
- Develop a better understanding of the use of educational resources
- Become more comfortable and more confident with assessing patients who may benefit from new educational resources
- Develop the skills necessary to support and follow-up patients using treatment options
